Tithing may not necessarily open the door of blessings. Even pagan religions believe in tithing. God opens the door of eternal life and blessings to those who have placed their faith in Jesus as their Lord & Savior. Jesus is our grace period!

I have been struggling financially for 2 years since I lost my job. Family and friends have been truly a blessing to me during my barren season. Often, I have felt like I was on a lost island. Many of these scriptures have help me tremendously. Pray for me that God gives me a financial blessing this Christmas season so I can be a blessing to others who are far more worse off than myself. This definitely helps with personal finances. I wonder if this is also applicable to our government’s debt crisis. Why our country is in such deep financial trouble? Is it excessive love for money? How does the national debt got so big and how to begin paying it down? Should govt tax more (tithe?) and give out more money in programs and subsidies, or should govt not receive, let people keep and give directly by cutting taxes. Or it is purely politics, where money is the root of all evils and power. God bless and thanks for the post.

Awesome information. I just had a revelation: I recently took a small loan and after much financial struggle the last few years, we have not taken any loans. Since the loan, I have had some bad news on another topic financially, and it didn’t make sense. I prayed about it and I believe the Lord revealed to me that he was dissapointed that i took a loan after working so hard to train me not to take any loans the last few years.
