$75 user participation survey for those in debt

As I think I have mentioned before, I am working with a company called DebtGoal in development of their product. It is basically an online system for tracking your progress to paying off your debt. I would call it simliar to Mint (mint.com review)or some of the other free budget software out there, except that the focus is strictly on helping you get out of debt and monitor the progress.

The program is still in Alpha which, if I understand techie speak correctly, means they are still adding new features, but is open to try out. If you are interested you can try it out at DebtGoal.com.

A $75 incentive to try it out

Right now, for the first 30 participants only, they are offering $75 to try it out and participate in a couple user surveys (about 2-3 hours total) over the next few months. If you are interested you can read more details below…

$75 for your feedback on new debt reduction service

Fill out this short form to earn $75 for participating in a usability study for DebtGoal.com, a service that helps you set up and track against a debt reduction plan. To participate in the survey, all you need to do is sign up and use the service for 3 months. Time spent to use the service should be around 15 minutes per month and providing feedback will take a maximum of 1-2 hours over the duration.

This is great way to help design a new service, make $75, and get started reducing your debt. You will find that, DebtGoal will help you get organized and make progress on your debt in ways that were difficult before.

To enroll, follow this link, and fill out the form. We will accept the first 30 respondents.

Participants should meet the following criteria:

  • Commitment to paying down debt
  • At least $5K in credit card debt
  • At least 2 other types of debt (mortgage, auto, student loan, home equity loan)
  • Current on all debt and able to make minimum payments

These are a few articles I have been reading lately…

Aw man, I was looking forward to the $75, but I have too little debt, looks like! I just have a car loan and that’s it. I guess that’s something to be happy about!

I am actually happy to report that we don’t qualify either. We have under 5,000 in credit card debt. Oh, well…but it is cool to hear about the product!

Sounds like a good deal. Do you trust it? A lot of people say they make some side income from doing online survey’s. I don’t fit the requirements here but could in the future.

Craig,
I do trust them. I am working pretty closely with them and they are good guys. I also had a another survey in the past with them and they paid on that one as well…

@Bob Thanks, with surveys you never know. I’ve never actually performed one to receive money but have heard mixed things in past. Some say it’s a nice way to make minimal side money. Some say it’s more a scam or can take months to receive the payment and is a huge process. If there is another one you recommend I am suitable for, I will gladly do it.

We don’t offer any cash incentives for taking surveys but we offer personalized (and free!) financial advice that will save you thousands over your lifetime.

Let me know your thoughts on our site!
