Amazon Mom: Save 30% Off of Baby Purchases

Last month I wrote a review of Amazon Subscribe and Save which is a program that allows you to get a 15% discount, free shipping, on a bunch of household goods and dry food items from Amazon.com. Amazon already has great prices on most of the items they sell and getting an additional 15% discount made it pretty easy to get me to start buying a lot of our food and goods there.

Well, for those folks with babies, the deals just keep getting better with the Amazon Mom program…

Save 30% off Diapers and Wipes

Basically, it is a simple as this: anyone who takes care of a baby can get 30% off of diapers and wipes (and other baby items) with free shipping. I am bookmarking this one for later use! ;)

Amazon describes the program like this…

“Amazon Mom is a free membership program aimed at helping parents and caregivers, from the prenatal days through the toddler years, use Amazon to find all the products their family needs. To join, simply sign into your Amazon account and tell us whether you are a Mom, Dad, or other caregiver of a child.”

“30% off select diapers and wipes: As an Amazon Mom, you receive an additional 15% discount on top of the standard 15% discount on Subscribe & Save when you sign up for Subscribe & Save delivery. Subscribe & Save shipping is always free, and you can change your delivery schedule or cancel at any time. No fees, no risks, no obligations.”

Have you taken advantage of the Amazon Mom discount? What did you think?

Bob,

Thanks for this info. This is definitely something we could use.

Good thing you’re bookmarking it…I suppose this isn’t something the dog could use ;-) .

We have a newborn and I found about this on another blog. I had never heard of Amazon Mom.

I purchased some diapers and got an excellent deal due to it. Very happy.

This is great! I’m so checking this out! I’m a huge Amazon fan. I love their free shipping. Living out here in Hawai’i I certainly can use all the free shipping I can get! Now on top of that a discount program! Can’t get any better than this! (Hopefully it includes us too.)

I am addicted to amazon…I use subscribe and save for many household items and also am a Amazon Mom member. The prices are hard to beat and the convenience of having large items delivered to my door for free are well worth any extra I might be paying.

We also have an Amazon Prime membership (we use Amazon a lot, and it was cheaper to pay for shipping all at once with this membership) which allows you to set up Amazon’s Subscribe and Save service. This service allows you to set up a schedule for how many and how often you want the item shipped. Basically, you sign up for an Amazon Mom account in conjunction with the Subscribe and Save service, and not only do you save money, but Amazon ships it to your door according to your schedule. You save money and you don’t have to think about it! It is great!

You can also use coupons for an additional 20% off. These coupons are usually found in baby magazines like Baby Talk or Parenting.
