If you made it to this page, you are probably facing some big challenges with your debt and are looking for relief. As a Christian, let me encourage you to call on God. He is our source and supplier and He is the one who gets us out of trouble when times are tough, regardless of how we got into the situation. He may use practical means like a debt consolidation to get us out of our problems, but don’t limit God to that only.

Debt consolidation is a last resort

Personally, I think debt consolidation should be the last resort to getting relief from your debt. Most of what I write about on this site is practical tips to help people get out of debt, save money, and even make additional money to pay off debts quicker. I strongly encourage you to read my 7 part series on getting out of debt and try to work off your debt yourself. In it, I basically go through the steps I went through to pay off $30,000 of consumer debts. I will be honest with you, it wasn’t fun, but I am so much stronger for it.
