After I posted 12 cool Christmas gift ideas a couple weeks ago my wife (Linda) told me that my list was not “girly” enough. I, being a guy, had no intention of coming up with a “girly” list of gift ideas. In fact, I openly admit that it was geared more towards guys. Ladies, I apologize.
So, I decided to hand the reigns over to my lovely wife for this one and let her write all she wants about her cool ideas for Christmas gifts…
Hi, this is Linda and first I want us all to remember what Christmas is all about . . . PRESENTS! Just kidding. But, I found these gifts and thought they were so fun and wanted to share them with the women who read ChristianPF. I hope you enjoy and get some good ideas.
Cool gift ideas for girls!
Wooly Sheep Christmas ornament
From Crate and Barrel – $2.50
I’ve had to do ornament exchanges and I’ve gotten some ugly ornaments. But you’ll be the most popular girl in your Secret Santa circle if you pull out this one!
$23.88
Any magazine subscription is a good idea. I got this magazine for a gift one year and loved it! I am still getting it 4 years later! I got one for a friend last year too!
From Land’s End – $56.50
My mom spoiled me and my sister with a Land’s End robe one year. It’s been my favorite thing on cold mornings (and evenings)!
Alliterative Alphabet Necklace
From Anthropologie $38.00
I don’t know about you, but I love having my initials on things. And just the other day I saw a friend with her sons first initial on her necklace. When I have a child, I’ll be doing that. (Hint, hint Bob!)
C.O. Bigelow Vitamin Mentha Tinted Lip Balm
from Bath and Body Works $7.50
Just bought more of this today. It tastes good and enhances your natural color!
$14.50
A few years ago my friend Resa started hand making changing pads and has grown her business to much more. Check out the little girl dresses, initial Ts, and . . . everything else for that matter! The changing pads are an especially good gift because they’re vinyl on one side and cloth on the other—perfect for taking anywhere and then throwing in the wash!
Apple iPod nano 8 GB Pink (4th Generation)
$139.88
I mean, it’s pink!
$29.99
This could be our favorite show. It becomes our nightly routine to come home and watch “The Office” and eat ice cream. : )
$34.95
Always a great gift—a cashmere scarf.
Alternative Women’s Gauze Long Sleeve Scoop Neck Tee
$13.50
Over the past few years I’ve realized that these are the most comfortable t-shirt AND they don’t shrink!
Nature Exploration Agate Notebook
From Nantaka Joy $13.50
Journaling is so much more fun when you have a fun notebook. I thought these were so cute!
$100
Last Christmas I got my first pair of Uggs and I’m sold. Bless someone you know with these babies!
Merry Christmas!
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas. I pray that God pours out blessings on you which you can not contain!

Linda needs to guest post more often!
Great list Linda…I hope Santa brings me a few things on that list…
Linda, you have great taste! Your list is spot on as far as I’m concerned. I’d like to receive any of those gifts. Merry Christmas to you too!
Lauren,
it’s done! I will hire her
I’m glad to hear people are enjoying my post! I had fun writing it. I’m hoping to get a few of them as well. ; )
These are all very cool and “real” gifts. Another awesome gift to add to this list is a cake and a prayer.
It’s an embraceable gift for youngsters because you can give a very delicious lemon pound cake and some words of encouragement or wisdom to your precious one without alla the mush.
Check out the website, http://www.cakeandaprayer.com. It’s really an opportunity to give your child food for thought in a sweet way.
This list is good, plus Linda the way you wrote just made me smile, I don’t know maybe it’s your kindness shining with the words. One question, Does the word Cashmere basicly mean soft?
