A friend of mine was on here and I guess they considered her post spam or something, but she was sharing a way that a lot of my friends have actually raised money using the internet and their social networks. The premise is called crowdsourcing and you use your social networks to get word out about whatever it is you are doing, maybe a missions trip or starting a business. Then people will donate to that project in return for a small gift item.....the site is called faithfunder.com and one of my friends was very successful at it, so you may want to try it also!
