    Default Swagbucks

I coulda swore, somebody joined this forum, created a Post about Swagbucks, and I replied to it, but now I can't find that thread.

*short premise of the website* You do your searches through thier website, and collect points to turn in.

Anyhoo... I signed up, it seems half legit, not too beneficial, after about three days I am 20% there to my whooping $5 amazon gift card!

But I noticed something very STINKY !!!

Swagbucks is a liberal plot to brainwash the world!!!

Hear me out for a second. They "SAY" the results come from google and ask.com. But test it out.
Go to Google and Ask.com and google two things, jot down the first 5 results.
    "George W Bush"
    "Rush Limbaugh"
Both of those sites, have official sites as the top result, for those two conservatives.

But when you search them on swagbucks, the very top link, is a poorly written conservative bashing site.

I'm telling you guys, Thy End is Near, and Thine name be Socialism!

Anywhoo. After research I found that with swagbucks, if you can log in once a day from two different computers, you can average out a $5 Amazon Gift card every 15 days or so. Apparently they most give $1-2 a day to each IP, and generally its within the first 2-3 searches you do from that computer.

I haven't used it much because it's loaded with Sponsored listing. That's probably what you were seeing.

Hi! I just started swagbucks about three months ago and I have earned about $45 in Amazon gift cards...I know it's not much, but I am saving for Christmas, and every little bit helps when you have four kids! The key is to get people signed up under you because for every swagbuck they earn, you earn one too! That's where it starts to pay off. I have about 14 people under me but only about four of them actually use it (you can watch your friends' status from your acct). I know people who have tons of people under them and get several gift cards each week. I'm hoping to get to the point eventually! :-) Not sure about the other stuff you were talking about...I only search for sites that I go to every day anyway, and I usually earn between 2-3 per day from my own searching...once in the morning, and once at night. I usually earn an additional 4-8 per day from my friends under me. Hope that helps! IMHO, I think it's worth the time.

    Ahhh Haa...

So the secret is the people under you! The good ole pyramid scheme.
I was honestly never very good at those
so come on people, help a brother out

right now I'm at 24/45 for my $5 amazon gift card.
Personally I think $45 in three months is pretty darn good ! considering it's free and takes little time.

Another site similar to Swagbucks is Blingo - it also gives chances to win gifts for searches every day.

    okay, quick update.

I started this around June 10th. It's now July 22nd, and I just got my second $5 amazon gift card from them. I'd say that was pretty bad, but it's really take such little time and effort. I'm guessing it takes me 5 minutes a day to log in and search from two different computers.

And so far I've managed to avoid thier liberal schemes. lol

After a week, I still only had $8 dollars from the first day. So I gave up. But I think I will give it another try, thanks to your post. I could always use some more amazon gift cards.

I have to admit, if you are not infront of a computer everyday, this is pretty useless. But for me it's not bad.

So you only had swagbucks from the first day? Did you use the search thing on the other days too?

Just redeemed my Fourth $5 Amazon Gift Card. So I totalled $20 since June.

Also discovered this thing they call a "Swidget" which I put on my igoogle homepage. I can check it for swagcodes for extra swagbucks. You have to manually check it, I wish it notified you when a code came up. But that is nice beucase I have igoogle open most of the day anyway, so I check it every now and then, so far I got 3-4 codes off the swidget.

All in all, not to bad, and it is a very little distraction from my day to day routine.

Been using SB since I started on the coupon trail. Only have earned 1 $5 Amazon card, whoo hoo, wish it paid out a little more. My tip is to enter a search, hit search and win, then when the results show up click the images button. Usually this earns me an easy buck. Maybe that'll help you all out a little.

Yeah, I haven't tried that, I'll give it a shot.

I do something similiar, I usually do a search, I never win on the first search, So I just let that sit in the background for a minute and then I hit page 2. and 70% of the time that will do it. 100% by page 4 if has been 24 hours since the last time.

Also I always make sure I'm logged out, seems to help me do it once a day on two different computers.

I'm up to 6 $5 amazon gift cards.

I'm a Swagbucks fan too. I added the search to my browser so it's automatic. If I don't get the results I want right away I just switch over to Google. Very easy.

I actually haven't done Swag bucks in quite a while! I don't know I just stopped doing it. Apparently they switched to a new point system or something.

I tried Swagbucks for a little while, but honestly didn't give it much credit. The sponsored listings tainted the waters just a bit too much for me. Plus, pyramid schemes don't sit well with me either. Anyway, for those of you that actually use it and receive gift cards, more power to ya! lol

Yeah! I think I did a post somewhere about searching for conservative people versus liberals on swagbucks. It's funny.

I got a decent amount of Amazon Credit from them so, I'm not really complaining. lol. Still haven't done it in a while, not sure why.
