YOU CAN DO IT!!

The Bible says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

SO, what is holding you back?

When you were a kid you probably dreamed of being some crazy and wacky things when you grew up. What did you dream of doing, making, or being? It does not matter how crazy or wacky - what was it?

What are you doing, making, or being now? Is it what you dreamed of as a kid?

Did you, like most people, fall into the trap of listening to others – and start to doubt that you could be an adult and do what you had imagined yourself doing as a child?

I was in the same boat until recently.

When I was young I had two - normal for me but crazy for most people - idea's I wanted to invent a car that was a plane/ helicopter (so my family could bypass all the traffic) and I also wanted to own a business that was involved in many different things - like inventing, building/ remodeling buildings, working with cars, and so much more. I basically wanted to own “The World” so to speak.

Well sad to say - that “life” and “common sense” got the better of me and I am not living my childhood dreams.

I put those two terms in quotes - because really it was just a disguise for fear and doubt -nothing else- that took hold of me. People say that it is just common or good sense but most of the time – well at least in my opinion it is because they are afraid to try and that keeps them from their goal/ dream.

Do you know that in the Bible there are approximately 365 verses that say in one way or another – do not fear? That is one verse per day of the year – don’t you think God is trying to tell us something? Maybe, God is trying to show us that we should not be afraid to do things – as long as it is does not go against the teachings of the Bible.

I want to challenge you - to take a look at your dreams and goals and see what really stopped you from doing them. If you say “common or good sense” then what is the real underlying reason? Most of the time if you look and really seek out what it was you will be surprised at how often fear was the true underlying reason. Usually, it is fear and a lack of vision for the future, by someone in your life and they pepper you with small little seeds of doubt. Those small little seeds of doubt that were sowed start to grow into fear and that kept you from your dreams.

How many of you would love to have a car/plain that could skip traffic?

Remember that when I was a kid I was told that was stupid and it would not happen and use common sense and get my head out of the clouds, etc.etc.

Now there are different flying cars being invented and a couple of them have licenses to be used in the USA. What I dreamed of many years ago is now quickly becoming a reality, and will make someone Millions - if not Billions. (That someone could have been me – if I had not been bound by fear that was sown in to me by others when I was young.)

Again I ask, what kept you from doing what you dreamed of doing?

Don’t let “small and narrow minded” people keep you from living your dream. Even if it does seem crazy – just ask yourself these few questions to see if what you are dreaming about is a good idea or not (this is not an exhaustive list and is only meant as a guide)

1) Will it better the lives of others around you?
2) Could it improve the state of the worlds economy?
3) Could it help save lives?
4) Will it make you happy?
5) Is it legal?


If the answer is yes to any or all of these questions then you are definitely on the right track.

Even if the answer is no – don’t get discouraged – just use your imagination and come up with ways to change your idea so that it will help others in one way or another and still be legal and make you happy. It might take just a little tweak – or it might take a complete reworking.

Don’t wait any longer start living your dream today.

Remember – the Bible says “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me”.

What if it is not fear that stands in your way, but money?

If you have an idea that you think will be very prosperous then don't let money get in your way. Do everything you can possibly do to get the funding to start your new venture.
