    Hi Eddey,

Welcome to the boards. This whole site is really built around avoiding and paying off credit card and other debts. That is almost the unofficial topic #1. Feel free to really check the site out (Bob put a great start here button on the homepage) and let us know if you have specific questions or comments.

There are some very good courses on cash flow management and getting out of debt. You might look in your local area for a Financial Peace University class at http://www.daveramsey.com/fpu/locate-class/

    All the best to you.

    Default Hi Eddey

Having had a severe challenge with credit card debt, do what ever it takes to avoid the problem. To enable us to get out of the place we were in, we had to scale back our lifestyle even to the point of selling our home. We now do everything cash and have found that if we only buy what we can afford, we avoid debt and in fact have found that over time we have more to spend.

Some people have told me that they can't get through the month without using their credit cards as their income is insufficient. If this is the case, continuing to use the card simply makes the whole bigger. Bite the bullet now. Cut back and you will enjoy the rewards in a year or 2.

    Hope this helps.

First you need to do iis to keep your self informed that where your balance is at the moment of time. You need to get the charge sheet from the bank or concerned body over the regular period of time. And then you can easily manage the matter.

One should avoid the credit card debit , just applying some rules on itself.Use the card when needed in emergency position or urgent needed.Frequent unnecessary use will be not good at the end.Make use till your payment cycle at the end.Always check the balance to avoid over use.

You can avoid credit card debt by purchasing only what you can afford to pay for. If you can’t afford to pay cash, you can’t afford to charge it.
