July 1, 2011 New Milage RAtes take effect

The IRS announced new milage rates to take effect on July 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011.

The optional business rate is increased from the current $0.51 per mile to $0.555 per mile.

The optional medical milage rate is also increased from $0.19 per mile to $0.235 per mile.

Unfortunately the charitable milage rate remains at $0.14 per mile.
