I live in IL, but have worked in both MO and NJ in 2010. Do I need to file state taxes in all THREE states? Thanks for any help.

If you had state taxes withheld:
you will need to file to get a refund or else you will probably owe taxes and still need to file.
If you did not have state taxes withheld:
it depends on how much you made in those states. Generally, If you live in a state (IL) all your income counts towards that state's income tax but they allow credit for taxes you pay to other states.
Boris4653,
Do you work in IL?
Or do you live in IL and work in MO?
How long did you work in your non-resident states?
Here is a link to the NJ tax site for Non-Residents: http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxa...10_1040nri.pdf
And here is some information regarding MO income tax filing for nonresidents: http://dor.mo.gov/personal/nonresident/
