Help my son is an atheist

I just found out my son has thrown away his faith, and he says it is largely due to this Richard Dawkings fella, I don't know what to do to bring him back

I'm really sorry to hear that Edward.

I'm assuming your son is a pretty intellictual fellow if he is following Richard Dawkins. I would highly suggest really studying your apologetics. This forum is really financial based, so I would suggest heading over to www.CARM.org they are an apologetic ministry that has forums similar to here.

Dawkins is basically a Biologist who pushes Evolution like it's going out of style. You are really going to need to brush up on your creation apologetics.

One of my good friends is an atheist too, and it breaks my heart. I'd suggest, if you're looking for more reading, anything by Ravi Zacharias - his site is www.rzim.org. I'd also say C.S. Lewis, he was a great apologist, and he was an atheist at one time too. Surprised by Joy would be a good read.

Edward, rent Ben Stein's documentary called "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed." It came out a few years ago. In it, Ben Stein gets to interview Richard Dawkins. It won't answer all of your questions, but it may give you some insight into Dawkins and his ilk.
