How many times have you fallen?

“You’re not stuck where you are unless you decide to be”

-Wayne Dyer

I don’t know who Wayne Dyer is, but I agree with him. Everyone seems to be dealt a different hand in life. But is a bad hand an excuse for mediocrity?

We have all heard of stories of people like the character from the Pursuit of Happyness who face insurmountable odds, but yet succeed nonetheless.

I do not believe that these people are uniquely blessed by God or that they ENJOY failure. I am becoming more and more convinced that it is nothing more than getting up one more time than they fell.

[tag]Proverbs 24:16[/tag] “For a [tag]righteous man falls[/tag] seven times, and rises again…”

Anyone who has every accomplished anything has had their fair share of challenges. It would be foolish of us to think that we could get through this life without any challenge. It would also be such a terribly sad thing to see someone given a precious gift by God and bury it because they were afraid to fail.

So, how many times have you fallen?
