Interview with Jim O’Donnell – Shortest Investment Book Ever

A couple days ago I had a call with Jim O’Donnell, Author of The Shortest Investment Book Ever. He is very nice guy with a really good heart. You can read my review of his Book to find out more about it, but if you are interested in hearing a bit of the interview, I created a podcast and actually put the audio into a video as well, so I could get it up on YouTube.

I need to work on a better system to record the audio, it was actually challenging to do the interview, because everything was digital and was chopping in and out. I used my Magicjack connected phone and recorded it with a free conference call service. I don’t know if Magicjack is to blame or not, but either way it is done now.

I did edit the interview a bit, cutting out some of the fluff and trying to just keep the meaty questions. I think it came out to about 20 minutes. If you are interested, this is what we talked about…

  • Why he wrote The Shortest Investment Book Ever
  • What people should do if they feel like they don’t have extra money to start investing
  • What types of people will get the most benefit from “The Shortest Investment Book Ever”
  • The negatives of some socially conscious funds
  • How to invest with your conscience
  • Should you invest in companies that financially support abortion, the gay-movement, alcohol and tobacco companies
  • A discussion about Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.”

Oh and don’t forget, I am still giving away 5 copies of The Shortest Investment Book Ever. You can still enter up until midnight tomorrow night! You can read more at the giveaway post.
