I’m pretty sure the bible says something about Jews running the media… Is that true? Did Jesus say that? I think maybe he did. Or is that just another product of media using their agendas against good church going, and tithing Christians?

But I agree Tim, these are difficult questions for us Christians… like same sex marriage… I mean, what’s next? Ya know, like, will they start allowing Calico cats to marry sandwiches? Cuz I seriously won’t put up with that. Calico cats marrying sandwiches. I mean, how would that even work.

I’m just gonna keep on rockin’ and rollin’.

Agreed. I don’t even own a computer because it is too expensive. And that is money I could use to teach homeless people to swim. No computers, no phones, no mail whatsoever. I know what you’re asking yourself, “Well then wait a minute Mr. Bigshot, then how did you type these comments?”

Moving on, I agree that this guy is very likely a prophet. He may actually be Jesus… I dunno… I’m just saying… he’s probably Jesus’s son.

Anyhow, I’m not surprised by the media agenda at work here. Does anyone really think it’s a coincidence that Jesus’s birthday falls on the same day as Christmas, and that the iPhone seems to come out that very same year!

Think about it. It’s consumerism and the medias absolute fear of homeless people one day learning to swim.

The guy’s obviously a hysterical crank, but some of the prophets were called the same. Anyway, the real question is not about this guy, but the title of this post, “Is buying an iPhone a sin?” In general, I find it hard to justify buying the very latest technology because it is so clearly not the most cost effective option–my guess is that only very few people actually have need of the most advanced features. Buying something exhorbitantly expensive because it’s fashionable or exciting (which is at least how the iPhone owners I know have explained their purchases to me) seems like an example of greed and pride, which are called deadly sins.
