Can’t wait for the spring. I don’t mind winter at all but need something to break it up to look forward to since takes too long to get to spring. Heading to Miami for the weekend in 5 weeks to do just that. Now winter is much more exciting.

On regards to the article “How a couple paid $63,000 in 11 months”, I have to say that it discouraged me instead of helping me. I believe that the majority of people do not make $63,000 or have the blessing of a bonus every year to tackle debt, so to be honest, I felt it is unrealistic for most people to think they can pay that much or even make a big significance in their debts in such short amount of time. Of course I follow Dave Ramsey’s advise, but I believe that what most of us who are trying hard to get out of debt need is practical advise not stories on people who make so much money a year that they can pay $63,ooo in less than a year but doing some minor things like selling their “toys” or not going out for dinner. I love your column but I really felt that article was unrealistic for most people.

I don’t mind the winter except when it’s below freezing with a bad wind chill. When the house is getting cold inside then that’s too much! Spring will be here before we know it.

Thanks for sharing my article! I hear you about Spring. As much as I don’t like the really really cold weather, winter this year is a reminder to get the hard work out of the way as quickly as I can so I can enjoy Spring when it comes. And I’ve been getting the Spring feelings quite early this year, too!:)
