I would suggest
1. read over the agreement they signed to make sure this stipulation was given to the lender (probably “yes”)

2. try to shift your credit to another card, signature loan, etc. BUT, be careful of the agreement they sign. Stay away from “pay day” lenders, etc.

3. if you can’t find any relief in 1 or 2 above, call the creditor, talk to a supervisior in the collections area and try to work out a plan. Make sure they don’t agree to something they can’t afford to maintain.

If you’re married, I strongly suggest that you start to pray with you’re spouse TODAY. Finances can be repaired. Marriages–not so easily or quickly. Covenant together that you will ride this wave together and NOT let Satin destroy your marriage.

As a Christian you need to remember that God is still in control. There may be, and probably will be, consequences to pay, but there is also a spiritual lesson God wants you to learn.
