I have long respected Warren Buffett on many levels. I have read a few books about him, read his annual reports, and watched a few videos of him speaking. The guy is such a likeable and down-to-earth guy who is just brimming full of wisdom. Whether he realizes it or not, he is following quite a few Biblical principles that, I believe, have been keys to his success.
Anyway, a few years ago I bought a fraction of a Class B share of Berkshire Hathaway (Warren’s company). I have wanted to go to see him at the annual meeting for a few years now, but haven’t been able to – until now.
So, Linda and I are taking a little roadtrip up to Omaha for the annual meeting and to hear the world’s greatest investor and richest man speak (or is the the second-richest man?). Apparently there were 35,000 people who attended last year. It is interesting to compare this to the 75 people who showed up at the annual meeting of a local utility company’s stock I own.
So, as you can imagine, the odds are pretty slim that I will be able to ask a question, but if I get the opportunity – what do you think I should ask?
I asked some of the Twitter folks and got some good ideas for questions, but if you want to share your idea feel free to drop it in the comments by early Saturday.
Either way, I plan on taking copious notes and hope to have some valuable lessons to share with the CPF readers next week. Ciao!

I can’t think of any questions to ask, but I can’t wait to hear your write-up of the experience! Enjoy not only the meeting, but also the trip with Linda.
How exciting! Warrren is definitely one of the people I look up to in regards to investment advice.
Actually, according to Forbes, he’s currently the world’s third richest man. But in my opinion, third place isn’t too shabby at all!
Looking forward to reading what you have to share!
They say money can’t make you happy. I dunno, he looks pretty happy and content to me.
