One of the challenges with a blog is that articles I wrote a year ago can be very difficult to find. I have worked hard on the site structure to create the best possible means of navigating to whatever information the user is looking for, but it is, at best, still a flawed system.

Every couple months or so I try to feature some of the popular and more helpful articles from CPF for the readers who may have missed them. So here are some of the more popular ones from the last few months… Enjoy

  • Free state tax filing online – 4 great websites that offer Free state efiles – if you qualify.
  • Free (and legal) movies and TV online – After doing a little bit of digging you will find that there are tons of free movies and TV out there, but a lot of it isn’t exactly “legal”
  • 10 ways to become (or stay) poor – These are things that most of us have done or are still doing. The challenge is to quit as many as possible while we can!
  • 2010 Census Jobs – sign up now! – Census taker jobs start this spring and it isn’t bad part-time work!
  • First-time homebuyer tax credit explained – If you are thinking about buying your first house this year, this will probably make it an easy decision.
  • How long does it take to get your tax refund check? – It will get there when it gets there! But if you must know, you can read this article.
  • 10 tips for surviving a layoff – Hopefully you won’t need to read this article, but if you do, these tips will help.

And here are some articles worth mentioning…

And a few Carnivals CPF was featured in… Personal Finance, Debt Reduction, Frugality, Money Hacks
