ROTH IRA - if one is over 59-1/2 AND makes a contribution to a ROTH, does the rule apply that requires BOTH reaching age 59-1/2 AND 5 years in the plan to withdraw GROWTH without penalty on profits?

If that is the case, what is the penalty?

If one withdraws growth within 5 years then AFTER 5 years, is there any penalty for withdrawing that growth for year 6 and beyond?

Thanks!!

[...] few additional estate planning points: If you name your spouse as the beneficiary of your Roth IRA, your spouse can treat the inherited IRA as his or her own after you die and forego withdrawals. [...]

One of the ones I mention is Sharebuilder who I have a roth with and they have a very low minimum - I think it is still $100...

I'm shopping for a Roth IRA provider right now, but most seem to have higher investment amounts than I'm looking to spend. Do you have any favorites?
