Save money on dinner with the Entertainment book

If you have been around the site a bit you know that I am a fan of the Entertainment Book and have been using it for years. It is a great way to go out to dinner (cheap meals or nice meals) at a nicely discounted price. Since Linda and I really enjoy going out to dinner we have gotten a lot of mileage out of our Entertainment books over the last couple years.

Also consider checking out Groupon as another great way to save money at great local restaurants.

Ours also came with coupons for the grocery store that saved us what we spent buying the book. And then we have hundreds of restaurants all over town that we get to get a buy-one-get-one-free meal. To read more that I wrote about it check out…

So anyway, I just got an email from one of the managers at the Entertainment Book company and she wanted to let me know about a promotion they are running. The books are good from November to November each year, so now that we are in December it looks like they are discounting it a bit. The deal is they are selling it for $19.99 (and additional books for $15) and offering free shipping as well. The offer is only good until December 20th.

So if you really want to save money, cook your food at home. But if you are going to go out to eat anyway, this might be worth it to you…

It can be worth it if they are places you go to regularly. Otherwise you are just spending the money for the potential to save.

My wife and I use ours all of the time. It helps to keep it in the car, instead of having to remember to bring it every time. Also, the five $5 grocery coupons alone pay for the book, even if you don’t use it for anything else!
