Evidently, there is a possibility. The American Council of the Blind has been fighting with the U.S. government for 6 years about the design of our dollar bills. The Federal Appeals court just ruled that our paper money discriminates against the blind. This very well could force another modification to our bills.

Turbo Tax user’s may get a paper check: Why Won’t I Get My Economic Stimulus Payment by Direct Deposit? Just a heads up for Turbo Tax users… I just heard yesterday that Turbo Tax users who checked the box to have the fee taken out of their refund may be receiving a paper check even if their tax rebate was sent via direct deposit. Diamond class action lawsuit

It turns out that there is a major class-action lawsuit going on against diamond supplier De Beers for allegedly violating federal antitrust laws. The suit is still pending final court approval, but if it is approved U.S. residents who purchased a diamond between January 1, 1994 and March 31, 2006 would receive a pro-rated amount of the $295 million settlement.

Warren Buffett and Forbes
