By now you have probably heard the news that the iPhone is officially coming to Verizon. There have been rumors about it for the last couple years and alas – for those of us who have been with Verizon waiting around for it – our ship is near.
Below are the answers from the Horse’s mouth to two of the most common questions about it…
How much will iPhone cost?
$199.99 for the 16GB model, and $299.99 for the 32GB model with a new 2 year agreement.
When can I purchase iPhone?
iPhone 4 will be available for pre-order to Verizon Wireless customers only, on a “first come, first serve” basis via VerizonWireless.com, on or around February 3rd 2011 – details to be confirmed a week prior by Verizon Wireless. New and existing customers can purchase in select channels on February 10th 2011.
Personally I think I am going to wait for the 4G iPhone to come out (which will likely sync nicely with my upgrade eligibility date) because 4G is probably worth waiting a few months for. Not to mention it will give a little time to get the bugs out.
So what about you? Will you be getting an iPhone from Verizon soon?

I won’t be. While it would be great fun to have, I don’t need it. Of course, I’m currently with AT&T and don’t have one, so switching to Verizon wouldn’t change that for me any.
Did you hear Verizon is ending their “New Every Two” program? If you’re due for a free or discounted upgrade (and don’t plan on getting the iphone, that is… which is very few of us) you have to get it today, otherwise you’re outta luck.
Carrie, I didn’t hear that – good to know!
Not here. We’re with ATT and haven’t made the jump yet. Shoot, I don’t even really do texting.
