Walmart’s Pre-Black Friday Sale and Deals

I remember a few years ago thinking it was crazy that some Black Friday Sales were starting at midnight as certain stores opened their doors.

Now, it looks like Black Friday is quickly expanding beyond it’s designated 24-hour period. In 10 years I guess it will be called Black November instead – we will see.

As I am at Starbucks writing this morning, I just overheard some people talking about how some stores are going to start Black Friday sales earlier – and wouldn’t you know it Walmart is leading the charge. They are running some Pre-Black Friday Sales and Deals to (presumably) beat their competition to the punch.

Some of the sales are pretty good, so if you are ready to get started on your Christmas shopping, it may be worth swinging by.

The sales run this weekend November 6th-7th and start 8:00AM on Saturday.

Walmart’s Pre-Black Friday Laptop Deal

Compaq 15.6″ CQ6-109WM Laptop PC with Intel Celeron 900 Processor & Windows 7 Home Premium

This is probably the best black friday laptop deal that we will see. While this isn’t one of the best laptops out there, for $288 – it is a pretty good bargain.

In terms of hardware, it is a pretty basic machine – but it will likely be fine for the casual internet user.

Walmart’s Pre-Black Friday LCD TV Deals

It is amazing to me how quickly LCD TV prices are dropping. Some of the Vizio TVs actually have pretty good reviews. I don’t own one myself, but when you consider that you can pay 2-3x as much for higher-end brands – they are definitely worth looking into…
