In our modern urban societies, most people do not have land they can work, and many lack the skills they need to thrive in a landless society. Millions of Americans today have no employment, and no land on which to subsist. What they are supposed to do is je ne sais quoi. Ants are equipped with all the skills they need – all they have to do (and yes, they actually do work hard) is to do the work for which they are equipped.
