In case you haven’t noticed, there over the last couple months there have been quite a few new faces around here. One of my goals for ChristianPF in 2010 is to add a lot of new voices to the mix. I fully understand that for CPF to be what God intends it to be, I am going to need the help of some like-minded folks who earnestly desire to help people become better stewards of what God has given them.
For those of you who haven’t had a chance to read the About page, I will tell you a little about myself. My name is Bob and I started CPF in 2007 and my goal was to make it a resource for Christians to get practical tips, biblical revelation, and wisdom about how to handle our personal finances. To sum it all up, I want to be the best steward of what I have been given, and I want you to be too! With God’s help we can master our finances and become the good stewards that we are called to be. Let’s do it together so we can hear the Master say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
So here are some of the wonderful writers who help out on CPF…
Linda Lotich is my lovely wife who has recently joined me in managing ChristianPF and a few other entrepreneurial ventures I have going on. She is a self-admitted (and recovering) shop-a-holic and she balances out my introverted tendencies by being a social butterfly.
Jay Peroni was one of the first writers to help out on ChristianPF. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and has a passion for Faith-Based Investing – in which he helps his clients make sure their investment dollars are only going to support companies that they morally agree with. Jay recently started a financial planning company called Values First Advisors and authored The Faith-Based Investor
Craig Ford is currently serving as a missionary in Papua New Guinea. He has served in various positions in ministry and has a Masters of Divinity degree. His primary blog is called MoneyHelpForChristians.com and I love his mission statement for it – “…promoting a frugal, simple, debt-free, and generous lifestyle so Christians can faithfully maximize their resources by putting them at the disposal of God’s Kingdom.“
Jonathan Milligan is a full-time webworker like myself and has a flair for helping people improve all aspects of their lives. He seems to get a kick out of teaching others about managing money, relationships, faith, career and time management. He also works as a career coach and is one of those guys who you can always look to for self-improvement tips.
Jason Topp is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) by day and a blogger by early morning. He writes for his own blog – Redeeming Riches – where he has a great mission to help people think biblically and practically about our money so we can redeem back the misguided views that wealth leads to happiness; restore the way we handle our finances to become the stewards God has called us to be; and also renew the correct perspective that God himself is the source of lasting joy.
Joe Plemon is a fellow St. Louis Cardinals fan and a Dave Ramsey certified financial counselor. Like most of us he did the rack-up-credit-card-debt thing and figured out that living debt-free was a lot better. He also writes for a couple Southern Illinois newspapers.
Jason Price is a Crown Money Map Coach and loves to write about financial principles from the Bible and wise money management. Just like many of us, he has a passion to see people break free from the bondages of debt and experience true financial freedom.
Let’s welcome them!
I feel honored to have such a great group of people helping out on ChristianPF. Even though I haven’t met most of these guys in person, I can attest that they all earnestly desire to be used by God and have a passion for helping people. I encourage you to keep an eye out for their articles, visit their websites, and join me in “officially” welcoming them to CPF.
As always, if you ever have article suggestions that you would like to see covered on ChristianPF, feel free to contact me and we will work to make it happen!

To Bob,
Thank you for having this blog…its especially helpful for those interested in working for the Census, and for those of us who have done this, and plan to do it again…this will probably be the last time I will be ABLE to do it…being in my early 70′s, but I am so excited to be doing something again, that doesn’t require working full-time..LOL…
Thanks,
amethyst
Welcome everyone! So many people I have already talked with so good to see you here! My wife wrote her first guest post today on my site, something I hope to have more of this year. Best of wishes to you all!
