What do you define as success? Is it landing your dream job? Is it having a huge nest egg in the bank? Maybe success to you is finding our soulmate. Whatever success means to you, I want to let you know how the Bible defines success. After researching scripture, here’s what the Bible has to say about Success.
The Lord your God will then make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock, and he will cause your fields to produce abundant harvests, for the Lord will again delight in being good to you as he was to your ancestors.
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
…”The God of heaven will give us success; therefore we His servants will arise and build…”
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.
Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.
The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor and life.
If you consent and obey, you will eat the best of the land;
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other you cannot serve God and wealth.
Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.
…and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.”
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.
