I love the emphasis on creation and connection. Christmas presents show love, appreciation and celebration. How great is it that you can get the same things by making presents with your loved one ;).

So exciting to get the opportunity to try new projects as well! Several of the items above I have no idea how to execute but why not try 😉

Although I love the IDEA of hand-crafted gifts, I am not particularly ‘crafty’ and a good deal of what I could craft would be laughed at and then probably discarded by the recipient. And since I have limited time and that is as valuable to me as money, spending the time to craft things of dubious value and use (at least the ones I make would be so) is time not well spent.
Any ideas for those of us who are not ‘crafty’ and/or for those of us who would like to buy nice gifts that don’t cost the earth. I am not one of those folks that spends hundreds of dollars on Christmas and I never will be. I usually spend about $100-150. Granted, I don’t have that many people to gift but I know people who routinely spend into the thousands on Christmas gifts. That makes no sense unless you are wealthy and even then it seems to miss the reason for the season.
JESUS is the reason for our season!
