I love the “Box of Chocolate Surprise” and the “Here’s to Your Bright Future” gifts. These are clever and simple enough to do myself. Thanks.

Great ideas! However, on the Money Mason Jar, I would put the bills in something to keep the M&Ms from having direct contact with the bills since paper money is one of the dirtiest things around. Other than that, thanks for the ideas!

One year for Christmas I gave my teenage nieces and nephews cash (wrapped in plastic) inside a can of play dough with a tag that said “Here’s a little dough for you to play with. They loved it!

Fabulous ideas! Why didn’t I already think of them??? Way Cool – I have two birthdays coming up in August and this may be the perfect plan! Thanks!

We aren’t loaded with cash and are short on time, but when my parents -in-law were struggling financially because of medical bills, house repairs, etc., we would put money(usually in $100 bills) in an envelope with a window with Ben Franklin looking out, and sneak it into their refrigerator with Ben looking at them. I would add a poem on the envelope ( I hated poetry in school), such as, “Roses are red, Violets are blue, You’ve warmed our hearts, This will warm your home… fix your back door…fix your bathroom faucet.” We found practical ways to help them in their senior years, with just an envelope with a window.

I have bought a salad bowl, and crumpled bills into it like lettuce… A big hit for newly weds!

I have used paper bills, different denominations, taped together to make wrapping paper, wrapped an empty box with this note, this box may look empty, but it is really full, full of my love for you!!! Your gift is the wrapping paper!
